MILWAUKEE, WI -- Monarch men's tennis members junior Salman Mohammed (Calcutta, India) and sophomore Niklas Oskarsson (Halmstad, Sweden) each recorded two victories in the qualifying rounds to reach the main draw of the Milwaukee Invitational.

Oskarsson used a straight set victory over Lorin Schlect of Portland (6-1, 6-2) and rallied from a one set deficit to qualify for the main draw with a win over West Virginia's Chris Green (1-6, 6-3, 6-0).

Like his teammate, Mohammed opened the day with a straight set win, a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Neil Johnston of DePaul. Mohammed then qualified for the main draw with a 6-4, 3-6, 6-1 win over Eric Kochanski of West Virginia.

The main draw of the Milwaukee Invitational will begin on Wednesday afternoon and continue through January 13th.
