DENTON, Texas - Old Dominion University women's tennis fell to 4-2 on the year with a 6-1 defeat Saturday evening to North Texas.

Juliana Pires was the only winner for ODU, dropping Franziska Sprinkmeyer 6-2, 6-7 (11-9 at No. 4 singles.

Ksenlya Bardabush started the scoring for the Mean Green with a 6-3, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles while Barbora Vykdalova was a 6-1, 6-1 winner at No. 2 singles.

Ilona Serchenko and Agustina Valenzuela rounded out the wins for UNT at No. 5 and No. 6 singles.

ODU finishes out their Texas trip tomorrow when they take on UT-Arlington tomorrow at 11 a.m. It is the season-opener for the Mavericks.
