USTA/ITA Women's Tennis Indoor Championship Host Wisconsin Defeats Lady Monarchs 5-2

MADISON, WI -- The Lady Monarch women's tennis team fell to 73rd ranked Wisconsin, the host of this year's USTA/ITA Women's Indoor Championships, by a score of 5-2. Sophomore Nataly Cahana (Qiriat Bialik, Israel) and senior Ana Radeljevic (Zagreb, Croatia) were each winners in their respective singles matches and also teammed up for a ODU doubles victory. Cahana improved to 2-1 at the championship with a straight set win over the Badgers' Vanessa Rauh, 6-2, 6-4. Radeljavic earned her victory with a 1-6, 7-6 (5) win over Linde Mues. Together the tadmen defeated Mues and Vojnov at first doubles, 8-4. Georgia and Vanderbilt each picked up semifinal wins to advance to the championship game.
