Results

LAS PALMAS, PUERTO RICO - Old Dominion University women's tennis cruised to a 7-0 victory over previously unbeaten Colgate Thursday evening in Puerto Rico.

With the win, ODU improves to 9-5 while Colgate falls to 8-1.

The Lady Monarchs swept through the doubles point as Diana Ivanova and Nikol Hristova were 8-2 winners at No. 1 and Nika Khmolovska and Faith Atiso won 8-3 at No. 3. Juliana Pires and Melissa Esnal Olguin eked out an 8-7 win at No. 2.

Ivana Vukovic got ODU on the board in singles with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 3 while Esnal Olguin was a 6-1, 6-0 winner at No. 5. Diana Ivanova breezed through a 6-1, 6-1 triumph at No. 1 while Hristova won 6-0, 6-2.

Pires toughed out a 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 4 while Khmolovska clinched the match with a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 6.

ODU returns home on March 23 when they host VCU.
