RICHMOND, VA. - The Lady Monarchs of Old Dominion University behind the play of nationally ranked Nataly Cahana (Qiriat Bialik ,Isreal) and Ana Radeljevic (Zagreb Croatia) defeated the University of Richmond, 4-3.

The Spiders captured the doubles point, but ODU rallied as Cahana, ranked sixth nationally defeated Jeannette Cluskey, 6-1,6-0, Radeljevic defeated Lindsay Cox, 6-3,6-1, Mily Kannarkat (Va. Beach, Va.), last year's thrid team Verizon/COSIDA Academic All-American defeated Casey Cohen, 6-3,6-4 and Patricio Araujo (Belo Horizonte, Brazil) defeated Patty Devlin, 7-5,4-6,6-3.

The Lady Monarchs return to action Saturday at 1:00 when they host Air Force.
