Munzinger, moving up to No. 5 singles, edged Sihem Bennacer in the first set, 4-6, but dropped a 6-0, 6-1 verdict in the second and third set.

The Lady Monarchs nearly defeated the Temple Owls falling 4-3 having to default No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles due to injury.

Junior Nataly Cahana and freshman Coarlie Herrmann and Verena Munzinger all picked up wins in singles play. Cahana rebounded with a 6-2, 6-2 match at No. 1 singles over Temple's Dana Penic. Herrmann picked up a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 4 singles over the Owl's Rene Deyzel, 6-1, 6-1, while Munzinger played to a 6-0, 6-4 victory at No. 5 singles against Lauren Verrall.

Temple took the doubles point due to Old Dominion's default at No. 3 doubles. Nataly Cahana and Kerstin Endlich teamed up for the Lady Monarch victory taking home a 8-3 win over Danira Penic and Ana Maslesa.
