NORFOLK, VA -- The Old Dominion women's tennis team wrapped up the regular dual meet season as they defeated George Mason in CAA action, 6-1, to improve to 9-11 overall and 1-3 in the conference. The Patriots fall to 4-12 overall and 1-7 in the CAA.

The Lady Monarchs began the match by taking the doubles point. The two ODU doubles team in action only allowed the Patriots to win three sets. Junior Nataly Cahana and senior Julia Sotiriu teamed up for the first time this season for a 8-2 win over GMU's Dinali DeSilva and Jenn Dektas at No. 1 doubles. At the No. 2 position, freshmen Coralie Herrmann and Kertsin Endlich played their play to a 8-1 win over Katie Sloper and Kelly Melichar.

Old Dominion won five of the six singles matches in straight sets giving up just eight matches to the Patriots. The Lady Monarchs' lone loss of the day at No. 6 singles was due to default because of injuries.
