NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University women's tennis fell to No. 1 seed VCU 4-0 Saturday evening in the semifinals of the CAA Tennis Championships at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center.

VCU started strong in doubles winning at No. 2 doubles 8-1 and No. 3 8-3.

The Rams clinched the match with wins at numbers four through six. Alena Gerasimova won 6-2, 6-3 at No. 4 while Salome Kvitashili was a 6-1, 6-0 winner at No. 5. Marketa Placha clinched the match with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 6.
