ATHENS, Ga. -- The Lady Monarch pairing of Nadine Fahoum (Haifa, Israel) and Joanna Dobrowolska (Warsaw, Poland) won the second set against the fourth-ranked tandem in the nation, but eventually fell 6-3, 5-7, 6-1 in the opening round of the 2010 NCAA Doubles Championship.

The ODU doubles team was facing the fourth ranked and fourth seeded UCLA pair of #4 Andrea Remynse and Yasmin Schnack. The Bruins won the first set, 6-3, followed by Old Dominion with a 7-5 win in the second. In the third and final set, the UCLA pair advanced with a 6-1 victory.

Fahoum and Dobrowolska, ranked 52nd in the nation, end the season 17-8 overall.
