WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Old Dominion University junior Nika Khmolovska won the Margie Waters Singles Flight at the 20th annual Tribe Invitational over the weekend at William and Mary.

In her opening match, Khmolovska cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 victory over James Madison's Ruxandra Andriescu before defeating Karlyn Timko of Marshall 6-3, 6-1. In the finals she knocked off Jacqueline Palmucci of James Madison 7-5, 2-6 (10-5).

Junior Melissa Esnal Olguin earned a win in her opening match with a tough three set triumph over Emma Whitfield of Penn, 2-6, 6-3, 6-2. She dropped her second round match to Katherine Bulling of JMU, 6-7 (4), 7-5, 6-1.

After falling in her first match of the tournament, sophomore Faith Atiso won a pair of matches to conquer the backdraw in the Marion Gengler Singles Flight.

Atiso defeated Rebecca Graff of Norfolk State, 6-3, 6-2 before defeating Kia Batiste, also of Norfolk State, 6-0, 6-1.
