PACIFIC PALISADES, CA -- Fourth ranked Old Dominion women's tennis player Nataly Cahana (Qiriat Bialik, Israel) continues on to the semi-final round of the ITA All-American Tournament held in California. Cahana defeated fifth ranked Sara Walker of UCLA in three sets, 6-2,4-6, 6-2, to advance.

Cahana will return to the court on Sunday with a semi-final match-up against Kelly McCain of Duke. McCain reached the semi-final round with a straight set upset of Georgia's Mariel Verban, 6-2, 6-2, and is currently the highest ranked collegiate player in the WTA Rankings at No. 414. Cahana, last year's ITA National Player to Watch as a freshman, fell to eventual champ freshman Ansley Cargill, another Blue Devil in the semis at last year's All-American.

Cahana's tournament began with a straight set victory over Jewel Peterson of Southern California (7-5, 7-6 (6)) in the opening round on Thursday night and followed with a second round win over Stanford's Erin Burdette (6-2, 6-3).

Play at the ITA All-American Tournament, one of three college tennis national championship events during the season for Division I women will continue through Sunday and can be followed at www.itatennis.com.
