PACIFIC PALISADES, CA. -- Old Dominion University sophomore Nataly Cahana (Quiriat Bialik, Isreal) defeated Kelly McCain of Duke, 6-4,6-3 to advance to the finals of the Riviera Women's All-American Tennis Championships. Cahan, the fourth seed will meet sixth seed Jessica Lehnhoff of Florida.

This tournament, the Nov. 8-11 Omni Hotels National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships and the year-end NCAA Championships are college tennis' three national championship events during the season for Division I men's and women's.

Lehnhoff is a three-time All-American at Florida. She reached the finals with a 6-1,6-3 victory over Kim Niggemeyer of Fresno State.

This is Cahana's first collegiate final and is the first Lady Monarch tennis player since Tzipi Obziler in 1995 (who lost to Florida's Craybas)) to reach the All-American final. As freshman last year, Cahana was named Intercollegiate Tennis Association National Player to Watch, which goes to an outstanding player who is expected to win a national singles title in their career.
