PACIFIC PALISADES, CA. - Old Dominion University sophomore tennis player Nataly Cahana (Quirait, Isreal) lost to Jessica Lehnhoff of Florida, 6-2,6-0 in the finals of the Riviera Women's All-American Tennis Championships. Cahana was seeded fourth in the tournament.

This was Cahana's first collegiate national final and the first Lady Monarch player since Tzipi Obziler in 1995 to reach the All-American final. Cahana, Old Dominion's first Division I women's tennis All-American was named last spring by the ITA as the National Player to Watch, which goes to an outstanding player who is expected to win a national singles title in their career.

Lehnhoff, the sixth seed is a three-time All-American at Florida who is also in the doubles finals this weekend. She joins Jill Craybas as the only Gators to claim the Riviera All-American title. In 1995, Craybas beat Lady Monarch Tzipi Obziler for the title.

This tournament, the Nov. 8-11 Omni Hotel National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships and the year-end NCAA Championships are college tennis' three national champion events during the season for Division I men and women.
