BLACKSBURG, Va. - Diana Ivanova and Aleksandra Mitrovska advanced to the round of 16 before bowing out of doubles at the ITA Regionals over the weekend at Virginia Tech.

The duo received a bye to open up the tournament and defeated a team from West Virginia 8-6 to move on to the round of 16. The duo was unable to advance, falling to a team from Virginia Tech, 8-2.

Nika Khmolovska and Ivana Vukovic knocked off their opponent in the first, an 8-6 triumph over Liberty before falling to VCU, 8-5.

Khmolovska earned a singles win for the Lady Monarchs with a 6-3, 6-4 triumph over Malon Allgurin of Longwood.
