BLACKSBURG, VA -- Senior Nataly Cahana (Qiriat Bialik, Israel) advanced to the quarterfinals of the ITA Women's Tennis Regional held at Virginia Tech this afternoon, while teaming with sophomore Kerstin Endlich (Neustadt, Germany) to reach the quarterfinals in doubles action.

Second seeded Cahana did not give up a game to Reshmi Srinath of Yale in the Round of 16. Cahana, who will face #8 Amy Wei of CAA rival William & Mary tomorrow morning, defeated her Round of 16 opponent, 6-0, 6-0.

In doubles play, sixth seeded Cahana and Endlich lost in the quarterfinals to William & Mary's third seeded team of Muth and Wei, 8-5. Earlier, the Lady Monarch tandem had defeated Columbia's duo of Kachar and Kim, 8-4, in the Round of 32 and then went on to defeated Nzudie/Sunker of Marshall, 9-7.
