FORT WORTH, Texas - Old Dominion University women's tennis takes its undefeated 4-0 mark on the road for the first time this season for three matches, two against ranked opponents. On Friday, the Lady Monarchs face No. 38 TCU, Saturday, No. 54 North Texas and they round the trip off on Sunday at Texas-Arlington.

About ODU
The Lady Monarchs 4-0 on the year, but not without tough matches, coming off a pair of difficult matches, defeating George Washington 5-2 on Saturday and UMBC Sunday, 4-3.

ODU has three players with unblemished records, No. 3 player, Ivana Vukovic, No. 5 Melissa Esnal Olguin and No. 6 Nika Khmolovska.

 

 

About TCU
The Horned Frogs are 2-0 on the year ranked No. 38 in the country. There victories are over Nicholls State and Sam Houston State.

Millie Nichols, Simona Parajova and Olivia Smith are all 2-0 on the year.

About North Texas
The Mean Green are 1-1 in 2013 and ranked No. 54 in the latest ITA poll. North Texas dropped a 4-1 decision to No. 13 Texas A&M and defeated No. 41 Minnesota, 4-3.

About Texas-Arlington
ODU's match on Sunday against UT-Arlington will be their first of the season. Last season, the Mavericks went 14-9 and reached the finals of the Southland Tournament.

Sophomore Verena Scott led the team in wins last year with a 17-7 mark playing No. 2 primarily at No. 2 singles.
