NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University women's tennis is back in action Saturday, Mar. 23 when the Lady Monarchs take on No. 43 VCU at 1 p.m.

ODU comes into the weekend with a 9-5 record after going 2-0 during their spring break trip to Puerto Rico. The Rams are No. 43 in the country and 13-4 on the year.

Junior Nika Khmolovska leads ODU with a 10-4 mark while Nikol Hristova, Melissa Esnal Olguin and Ivana Vukovic have nine wins apiece. Esnal Olguin and Juliana Pires have a team-best 6-1 record in doubles.

VCU is led by senior Josefin Hjertquist, who has a 6-2 record, while Olga Barscheuskaya and Cindy Chala are second on the team with five wins apiece.

The only common opponent between the two schools is Penn State. Both schools fell to PSU, ODU dropping a 7-0 match while VCU fell 6-1.

ODU returns to action on Thursday, Mar. 28 when they host UNCW.
