RICHMOND, Va. -- The pairings have been released for the 2007 CAA Women's Tennis Championship, which will be held April 19-22 at the Huntington Park Tennis Center in Newport News, Va.

This year's championship features two of the nation's top 30 teams in 16th-ranked William & Mary and 26th-ranked VCU. VCU is the defending tournament champion, but W&M has claimed 18 of the past 21 crowns.

The women's tournament gets underway with three first-round matches on Thursday at 11:30 a.m.. Sixth-seeded James Madison takes on #11 Hofstra, #7 Delaware meets #10 George Mason and #8 Towson faces #9 Drexel.

Quarterfinal action begins on Friday with #4 Georgia State taking on #5 UNC Wilmington at 9 a.m., followed by #1 William & Mary against the Towson/Drexel winner at 11:30. Second-seeded VCU faces the Delaware/George Mason victor at 2 p.m., followed by #3 Old Dominion against the JMU/Hofstra winner at 4:30 p.m.

Both semifinal matches will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, with the championship set for 10 a.m. on Sunday.
