NORFOLK, Va. - Melissa Esnal Olguin won 6-4, 7-6 at No. 3 singles to lift Old Dominion University women's tennis to a dramatic 4-3 win over William and Mary Friday evening.

ODU started the match by winning the doubles point, as Diana Ivanova and Aleksandra Mitrovska dominated for an 8-3 victory at No. 1 while Esnal Olguin and Khmolovska clinched the point with an 8-6 win.

Ivanova got ODU on the board in singles with a tough 6-4, 6-4 triumph over Maria Belaya.

Khmolovska gave ODU its third team point with a 6-0, 6-4 win over Hope Johnson at No. 4 before Esnal Olguin clinched the win with her thrilling finish.

ODU takes on No. 1 seed VCU Saturday at 2 p.m.
