TOWSON, MD- Freshman Jen Myers (Wyckoff, NJ.) took third and freshman Jenny Cook (Mascoutah, IL.) sixth as Old Dominion University's women's cross country team placed third overall in the Towson Invitational Saturday.

Myers' five meter time was 20:04, while Cooke was 20:21. Sophomore Nicole Williams (Manassas, Va.) was 17th with a time of 20:58 , Hollie Robinson ( Va. Beach, Va.) was 21st with a time of 21:28, and Teresa Brown (Colorado Springs, CO.) was 24th at 21:36.

Host Towson University won the event with 33 points followed by George Washington with 44 and Old Dominion was third with 69 in the eight team field. The individual champion was Mary Beth McCullough of George Washington with a time of 19:50.

Old Dominion competes in the Wolfpack 5.3k Invitational next week in Raleigh, NC.
