Big Blue Appearances

Big Blue, the official mascot of Old Dominion University athletics, appears at all men's and women's home basketball games and many other athletic and special events throughout the year.

Due to Big Blue's busy schedule, special events are limited. To request an appearance by Big Blue, please send a written request to David Weisser at dweisser@odu.edu. Requests must be written and received 30 days in advance of the event. University requests must be signed by a department chair, supervisor or student organization advisor. An appearance fee of $30, and an allowance for substantial transportation costs is requested for non-University events.
